The Flemish Carillon Guild offers many services through the work of its various committees. For example, the Carillon Restoration and Installation Committee and the Professional Concerns Committee provide all kinds of free information and advice.

Carillon Restoration and Installation Committee
This committee gives advice of a technical and historical nature concerning carillons such as in the case of a carillon restoration.

Professional Concerns Committee
A Code of Professional Standards was created for Flemish carillonneurs and is available upon request. It gives a job description as well as a sample contract and salary tables. This committee also gives advice for filling vacant posts. The committee can also provide referrals for interim positions.

Music Committee
For the benefit of carillonneurs, carillon music is published regularly. This includes unpublished works from past years as well as new contemporary compositions. Compact disks with noteworthy recordings are also produced. A complete summary of VBV publications can be found under Publications. This committee also encourages composers to write for the carillon.
